Experience working with horses is preferred, but not required.
Experience driving a tractor would be helpful but is also not required.
Job training will take place during an employee's first few weeks.
Daily responsibilities include:
Morning feeding Morning turn-out Stall cleaning and bedding Sweeping Watering Haying & Graining Other miscellaneous tasks related to the care of horses and the barn may arise in which the employee may be called upon for assistance.
Examples of such tasks may include:
Occasional grooming or showering Bringing horses in from the field for lunch, vet, or farrier Turning horses out on the grass pastures This is a full time, salary position.
Salary will reflect experience and work ethic.
Housing can be available if needed.
